Sun, Style & Strategy: A Luxury Team Adventure on the French Riviera
This was a two day bumper stay (pardon the pun) in the South of France where guests were thrown straight into their team event - a Treasure Hunt along the coast! This wasn't any ordinary treasure hunt; teams were divided up and allocated their unique mode of transport for their treasure hunt.....a vintage Citroen 2CV!! To start the challenge teams had to crack a Code X disk, which on completion would reward them with a set of keys for their vintage 2CV. Teams took to the road in style as they competed against each other to complete the challenges on the treasure map. Not only did the teams have the mental challenge of completing the tasks along the way, but they had to navigate the tricky costal roads along Marçais to the port of Cassis. With maps in hand, teams drove their way through the windy costal roads, dodging local fishermen and friendly locals, until they arrived at the restaurant in Cassis for lunch. We arranged private hire of a sea front restaurant with its own private swimming pool. Guests enjoyed the local food and gorgeous sunshine as they took a dip in the pool. Other more enthusiastic guests took the liberty to climb up the rock face overlooking the ocean and jump into the beautiful Mediterranean sea!
After a fun filled lunch, guests had to map read their way along the Route des Crêtes which is a picturesque and narrow coastal road winding from Cassis to La Ciotat along the Mediterranean shore. They made the most of the sun in their open top cars before retuning to their luxurious 5 star hotel in Marçais. Guests enjoyed evening drinks on the rooftop bar overlooking the port before tucking into a private gala dinner. After an exciting evening of being treated to local wines and food, the guests caught their short two hour flight the following morning back to London. When a trip like this is so convenient, why wouldn't you want to have fun in the sun?!!
