Fireside Polo Christmas Market questions
When is the Fireside Polo Christmas Market?
Saturday 5 December 2026. Gates open at 3pm, giving you time to browse the Christmas market stalls and do your Christmas shopping before the polo begins. The first match starts at 4.30pm under the floodlights, and the evening usually finishes between 9pm and 9.30pm.
Where is Fireside Polo held?
At Druids Lodge Polo Club, Druids Lodge, Nr. Salisbury, Wiltshire SP3 4UN. The entrance is clearly marked off the A360, so simply follow the signs to Fireside car parking as you drive into the polo club.
How much are tickets?
Advance tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for ages 13 to 16, £30 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 aged 13 to 16) and £7.50 for military, students and members. Children 12 and under go free. There is a £2.50 online booking fee per order. Tickets are also available on the gate at slightly increased prices.

Is there parking?
Yes, parking is free and on site. Follow the signs as you drive in from the A360 and our team will point you to the car park.
Do children need a ticket?
Children aged 12 and under go free and do not need a ticket.
Is the event outdoors, and what should I wear?
Yes, Fireside Polo is an outdoor evening, so please dress warmly for the weather on the day. Firepits are dotted around the viewing area for you to gather round with a hot chocolate as the matches unfold under the floodlights. We are a working polo club, so it can be muddy underfoot. Outdoor boots, warm jumpers and a waterproof coat are ideal.
What happens if it rains?
Rain doesn’t stop play. The polo goes ahead whatever the weather, and you can watch in comfort from the clubhouse or shelter under the gazebos we put out.
What is there to do?
Fast, close up arena polo under the lights, an artisan festive market for your Christmas pressies, Hidden Pizza, mulled wine, the Land Rover Defender bar, and hot drinks, hot chocolates, cakes and snacks in the Clubhouse. It is fun for all the family.
What food and drink is available?
Hidden Pizza will be serving a variety of their wonderful pizzas, alongside cakes, tray bakes and snacks, with hot and cold drinks and warming hot chocolates. You can pay by card or cash.
Are dietary needs catered for?
Yes, dietary needs are catered for. If you have a particular allergy, just ask the team serving and they will be happy to help.
Where can I stay nearby?
There is a lovely choice close by. Holiday Inn Salisbury Stonehenge and The Stones Hotel are a short drive away, while the Red Lion, the White Hart and Milford Hall all sit in the heart of Salisbury.
Do military and students need ID?
Yes. Please bring your military or student ID to validate your ticket at the gate.
How do I get my ticket?
Your e-ticket is emailed to you straight after payment. Show the QR code on your phone, or bring a printed copy, at the gate.
Can I book a Christmas party?
Yes. Private Fireside Christmas parties are available in our manor house, a unique way to treat your staff. A 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance paid in full before the event. Call 01980 630030 or email events@seriouslycoolevents.com.
Will there be a photographer?
Yes. Photographs are taken on the day by our professional photographer, Michael Berkeley. If you do not wish to have your photo taken, please let him know.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
Tickets are non refundable, but if you can’t make it, you are welcome to pass your ticket to a friend. They just need to bring the ticket with its QR code for us to scan on entry.
